Specifications
Tether Operated Vehicle will be controlled via a remote linked by wire to the device itself. It will be constructed using the materials listed below, and is limited as specified in the “Limitations” section. The tasks set forth in the challenge will be accomplished using the materials and implements provided.
The goal for this design is to produce a bouyant, water resistant vehicle that is capable of transitioning from land to water and navigating in unstable, sandy conditions. The design must be able to operate when wet and wheels must not jam when moving through sand.

Limitations
The TOV can include the above materials, anything else is prohibited. The device cannot contain the following features:
Ø Helium or Hydrogen balloons
Ø Any fire or combustion
Ø High voltages or currents
Ø Materials not on approved list
Ø Using liquid propellant
Ø Materials that will damage the performance area
Ø Using metal to achieve traction
Ø Any resistors or potentiometers
